As a native Viennese, in early life I came into contact with the traditional Heurigen (Engl. Wine tavern) – culture at an early stage.

During my master studies of business administration, I discovered my love for wines from overseas (New World); however, I returned to local wines some years later.

The attachment to Austrian wines aroused my interest in learning more about this magical drink from fermented grapes. So I began my studies at the Austrian Wine Academy which I successfully completed after exciting and instructive years.

Receiving the internationally regognized diploma of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and graduating as a wine academician (German: Weinakademiker©) did not leave me in peace for long.

Soon the desire for my own business arose, in order to be able to pass on my passion for wines and my knowledge to wine lovers. This is how the company Wein-Leben (Engl.  Wine-Life) came into being whose name is not just a name but rather a philosophy to enjoy good wine in all areas of life.

Since the company was founded in 2017, I can already look back on more than 20 exciting tasting and seminar topics, whereby the satisfaction of my guests is my top priority.

The ever-increasing demand for high quality and mature wines as well as the request for good value for money wines for everyday life have been reflected in the new wine assortment as well.

In addition, I do currently support a renowned wine magazine as a freelance editor and  as a wine critic with my expertise in wine tastings and professional articles.
