This website is provided by Wein-Leben e.U., 1190 Vienna, Obkirchergasse 36/1 (“we” or “us”).
This statement describes how we, as a data protection responsible, will process your personal data relating to this website.

1. Which personal data we will process
During your visit to our website, we will collect the following information: Date and time when accessing a page on our website, your IP address, the name and version of your web browser, the website (URL) you requested before you have visited this website, certain cookies (see section 7 below) and the information you will provide by yourself when completing the contact form and registering to receive newsletters on our website. There is no obligation to actually disclose any information that we ask on our website. However, if you do not, you will not be able to use all features of the website.

2. Collection and use of personal data processing
Personal data will only be collected and processed by Wein-Leben to the extent permitted by law or if users consent to the collection of personal data. In general, it is evident to users when using the respective service which category of personal data is being stored, such as name, e-mail address and living address, when using the contact form.The personal data provided for the purpose of ordering goods and the provision of services (such as name, e-mail address, living address) will be used by us to fulfill and process the contract. This information will be kept confidential, encrypted transmitted and will not be disclosed to any third parties who are not involved in the ordering-, delivery- and payment process.When contacting Wein-Leben (via contact form or by e-mail), the details of the user are stored for the purpose of processing the request as well as in case of follow-up questions.We have taken organizational, contractual and technical security measures to ensure compliance with data protection laws and to prevent accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons.

Personal user data is only being forwarded to third parties, if this is legally permitted or if a user has consented to the forwarding.This is the case, for example, if forwarding of personal data is required to fulfil contractual obligations to the user and the postal address is submitted to a forwarding company after placing an order. 5.2 Other Service Provider used by us

  • Parcel service provider when delivering your order (DPD, Post etc.),
  • Bank institutes for payment processing (Erste Bank der österreichischen Sparkassen AG).

5.3 Other external Third Party Service Provider appointed by us to the required extent

  • Accountants & Auditors;
  • Insurance companies and legal representatives in the insurance or case of an incident,
  • Authorities and other public bodies to the extent required by law (tax authorities, etc.),
  • To credit rating service providers (KSV 1870, etc.) for orders through our website due to our legitimate interests and the associated economic risk.

Some of the above-mentioned recipients are located outside of your country or process your personal information there. The level of data protection in other countries may not match the standards of your country. However, we only transfer your personal data to countries for which the EU Commission has determined that such counties will meet an adequate level of data protection, or we take measures to ensure that all recipients will meet an adequate level of data protection.

6. Information via Email and / or Newsletter
Promotion Emails through the provider and its services will only be sent with the express consent of the user. Users may refuse to receiving the newsletter at any time.An opt-out option is placed in all respective e-mails or newsletters.Before sending the newsletter, the e-mail holder receives a confirmation mail in which the user must confirm the subscription to the newsletter. Non-promotional information refers to news in the context of the contractual relationship with the user. This includes sending of technical information, payment processing information, order inquiries and similar messages.

Users can subsequently apply for being removed from the notification list by e-mail to the above-mentioned contact options.

As part of the registration, the provider saves the login and the confirmation time and the IP address of the user. The provider is legally obliged to log the applications in order to prove a proper registration.

9. Duration of storage
When visiting our website or in doing business with us, basically we will only store your personal data as long as it is necessary to fulfill our legal obligations.However, for the purposes of our tax- and corporate law obligations, we generally store your personal data provided relating to notifications and orders seven (7) years after fulfillment of the contract.In the course of responding to user requests any submitted personal data will be stored for a period of twelve (12) months after the receipt and response of the inquiry in order to respond to any follow-up questions, too. If you have only registered for Newsletters and for the receipt of advertising information and you are not a customer of us, we will store your personal data until further notice and for a maximum of three (3) years from the last contact date.
